Almanacs

Wilmer Murillo is Almanacs, an audiovisual artist and designer from Honduras. After more than ten years of developing a busy career in visual design and illustration, he began to explore sound design and experimental music by making use of synthesizers, tapes, microphones and computer software. Most of Almanacs compositions are based on a generative approach, focusing on the aesthetic characteristics of sound.

In 2022, Pitchfork magazine recognized Almanacs as one of the top 10 Latin American sound artists that are expanding ambient music in the region.
