Galecstasy & Mike Watt Trio is a collaborative project rooted in trust, spontaneity, and shared musical lineage. Bringing together the Los Angeles based experimental duo Galecstasy (Raquel Bell and Jared Marshall) with Mike Watt’s foundational punk legacy, the project operates without songs, hierarchy, or predetermined structure. Drawing on Galecstasy’s improvisational electronic and ambient soundscapes - where spirituality, nature, and technology intersect through vintage and modular synthesizers - and Watt’s innovative, percussive approach to bass that redefined its role in rock music, the collaboration embraces total freedom. The result is a raw, immersive convergence of experimental futurism and lived punk history, guided by instinct, presence, and decades of musical exploration.
