Kenny Ueda

Kenny Ueda is a composer, producer, and visual artist from Yokohama, Japan, crafting music that drifts between bedroom pop, ambient soundscapes, and post-new age experimentation. His debut release, Pasadena Garden, is a collection of ten instrumental pieces that blend nostalgia with a surreal, dreamlike quality. Built from a palette of vintage synths—including the Roland Juno-6, Casio SK-1, Yamaha VSS-30, and Yamaha SY35—the album showcases his distinct sonic approach, where warmth, texture, and whimsy converge.

Beyond music, Ueda is a passionate collage artist, known for his hands-on, old-school technique—eschewing digital methods in favor of cutting, pasting, and photographing his work. He created the cover art for Pasadena Garden as well as Nekomachi's 2024 Mystery Circles album Koko Doko. His multidisciplinary artistry bridges sound and vision, crafting immersive worlds that feel both intimate and otherworldly.
