KETA RA

Keita Sadanaga was born in the spring of 1988. He began playing guitar around 2011 and later started performing solo under the name KETA RA. Combining laptop-based production with rich sound-processing techniques, he performed approximately 100 shows per year for about three years, appearing at outdoor festivals, cafés, and a wide variety of other venues.

His discography includes numerous releases in Japan and abroad: a sought-after debut on AIUEO-record, a 12-inch release on Altzmusica, an ambient cassette on the U.S. label Mystery Circles, a live album on Astrollage (a sublabel of Disk Union), and a collaboration with the band Singu released on the German label Growing Bin Records.

He draws inspiration from nature, effects pedals, and the mystical.
