Abdul Allums is the man behind the moniker Orbitalpatterns. For nearly 2 decades, he had been creating beats and building sounds on DAWs at his home in Michigan before diving into the world of modular synthesis. Utilizing self-created samples chopped and cut together, he conjures lo-fi tapestries that are beautifully intricate, textured and haunting.
