Slow Haste

Slow Haste is the electronic music project of Daniel Juergens, based in Portland, ME. Initially trained as a drummer and vocalist during his childhood, Juergens played in & wrote for multiple projects (Introducing…, Mokita, Tired Driver) throughout young-adulthood before settling comfortably into his home grown solo electronica project, Slow Haste. Inspiration is drawn from numerous facets, first and foremost informed by the structure of popular music mixed with the textural expansiveness of various electronic genres including chillwave, lofi-house, and ambient. Slow Haste’s catalog features texturally rich, beat-driven tunes that straddle the line between introspective listening and dance music. Juergens also currently plays samplers & synths in the Portland, ME-based dream pop act “Little Oso”.
