Lesjamusic is Lost

Lesjamusic Is Lost was titled retroactively to describe the meditative, liberating state of making the music. "Every Colour At Once”, the first track to be recorded for the record, has no fixed tempo and little chord structure, but instead takes the listener on a textural exploration with no real resolution. Every so often the record reveals something familiar - a bass guitar here, a synth pad there - but these are often buried under metres of warped digital noise or distorted undulations, or disfigured by a lofi sampler, a degraded tape loop or or a granular synthesizer. Much like the creator, they are lost. Becoming lost can speak to helplessness or anxiety, but Lesjamusic is Lost makes the case that losing oneself can be about creativity, discovery, mindfulness and mystery.
