Ryan J Raffa

Musician, artist, and educator, Ryan J Raffa evokes emotional structures and personal geographies, exploring the transformative relationships of sound, experimentation and performance. Working in sonic, visual, and interactive mediums, Raffa's work has been shown, experienced, and performed in such diverse spaces as CultureHub/La MaMa Galleria, Aronson Gallery, Temp Art Space, Mozilla, SIGGRAPH, ACM Conference on Creativity and Cognition, CBGB, KEXP, and NPR. After living and working in Brooklyn, NY for almost two decades, Raffa is currently based in Taipei, Taiwan with his wife and son. His new album Landscapes and Self Portraits releases 10/29/19 on all digital platforms and an edition of 50 cassettes.
