Lo-fi vibes, chill beats, catchy melodies + psychedelic sounds… Welcome to the world of Kenji ‘Kenny’ Ueda, a composer / producer hailing from Yokohama, Japan. 'Pasadena Garden' is his debut album, featuring a selection of tracks recorded between 2020-2023. The album features a unique blend of influences, at times evoking the nostalgic feel of City Pop and vintage video games with his own lo-fi twist. Each track is meticulously composed, with ear worm melodies that are hard to shake. *The original shipment of tapes was stolen from our porch so technically, 100 of these EXIST. Who knows what happened to the originals. Hopefully they didn't trash 'em! Maybe one day they will pop up in some local thrift stores…
